Outstanding Achievement Award Recipient

Our Cancer Program recently received the 2008 Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC).  This award recognizes the significant commitment of our medical staff, administration and personnel for providing high quality cancer care to our patients, and in meeting and exceeding the standards set by our CoC Accreditation Program. Not only have we met the basic standards of our Accreditation Program, but we have also excelled in seven areas where Commendation has been awarded.

We are one of 95 nationwide, one of four in Maryland and the only program on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to receive this recognition.  It's just another example of our commitment to providing the highest level of quality cancer care to our community.
